CQC registered Manager: Vanessa Pirga
A CQC registered manager has overall responsibility for compliance with CQC, ensuring that the practice provides, safe, effective care to our patients. Infection control Lead: Sinead Adams
The infection control lead in a dental practice has responsibility for ensuring that all staff adhere to government guidelines for cross infection control. This is done with creating and implementing policies, audits, spot checks and staff training.
Data Protection Officer: Vanessa Pirga
In line with GDPR 2018, the practice has robust policies and procedures in place to ensure that your data is kept confidential and used only for intended purposes. The DPO conducts regular audits, spot checks and continually monitors practice procedures. Further information on our procedures can be found below.
Radiation Protection Supervisor: Piotr Pirga
This role is a requirement in all dental practices, and the person has overall responsibility for radiation safety. It includes auditing the quality of x-rays taken, overseeing the safety of equipment, and making sure that all procedures are followed.
Safeguarding Lead: Rebecca Evans
The safeguarding lead has had enhanced training, having overall responsibility for overseeing the practice safeguarding procedurse. This includes arranging training, making sure our procedures are up to date, and acting as an intermediary between the practice and other relevant services such as social care.
Fire Marshalls: All nurses
All nurses have completed fire marshall training to ensure that you will be evacuated from the building safely in the event of a fire.
