Our Vision and how we work

As a practice, we are committed to our statement of purpose and work in a manner to achieve this whilst being responsible towards our people, the environment and our community. We are aiming to achieve gold CSR accreditation by the end of 2020 by reducing our carbon footprint, developing our staff and strengthening our links with charities.

 

Our team are fully supported to achieve more, and our approach is always ‘what can we achieve next?’. This ensure that we are continuously developing our staff to reach their full potential, while also enhancing the quality of service we provide for our patients.

 

We are constantly looking to reduce our carbon footprint, and the simplest way to start is by reducing our reliance on single use plastics by looking at sustainable alternatives. We have reduced our usage of single use plastic by approximately 30%, we are looking to decrease this even further in 2020. Where possible, we order items made from recycled materials and those that are from sustainable sources. We recycle as many things as we can in the practice, from paper to toothbrushes, and provide the opportunity for our local community to participate by having available the terracycle oral care recycling box so patients of the practice can participate in the recycling scheme too.

 

We are committed to going digital wherever possible and have eliminated most of our paper waste by having all NHS forms, consent forms and appointments reminders sent electronically where possible.
